The Northeastern States Research Cooperative (NSRC) completed another successful outreach event bringing researchers and practitioners into the same room. The Brown Bag Lunch Series at Vermont’s Agency of Natural Resources hosted Dr. Brian Voigt, research assistant professor in the University of Vermont Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources and Fellow of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, on December 3, 2014.
The room filled beyond capacity to hear Brian’s troubleshooting pointers and data organization tips from over two decades of experience working with ArcGIS. Brian, a former grant recipient of NSRC funds, currently works on viewshed protection analyses for resource extraction on Bureau of Land Management land in Utah.
